Welcome, Sierra!

We would like to welcome our new Associate, Sierra Druley, to the TEN x TEN team!

With a background in visual and performing arts, philosophy, and environmental science, Sierra approaches landscape architecture with an eye for translating complex ecological and social dynamics into elegant, ethically grounded designs. From regional masterplans to site design and detail development, she excels at bringing design rigor and conceptual consistency to projects across scales and phases.  

Her landscape practice is informed and enriched by her ongoing work in film and video arts, speculative fiction, installation art, and textiles. She earned her MLA from the University of Washington with a concentration in Urban Ecological Design, and bachelor’s degrees in environmental studies and philosophy from the University of Oregon. 

Sierra’s landscape work is rooted in the conviction that beauty, wildness, and ecological richness are essential components of the human habitat, and that access to these is a basic human right. She believes in the power of design to create opportunities for all people and communities to access wonder and delight in the places they live, work, and play.
