Congratulations, Satoko!

We would like to congratulate our Director of Process, Satoko Muratake (right), on her 8th anniversary with TEN x TEN!

Satoko has shared her favorite parts of working for TxT, along with some other fun facts:

I am passionate about collaborating with visionary clients, community partners, and design teams to envision a sustainable and equitable future. Through urban design visioning projects such as the New Nicollet public realm framework and the Minnesota Innovation Exchange (MIX), my focus has been on establishing a public realm and enhancing connectivity. These efforts are key to reimagining future development with equity and sustainability at the forefront.

What is your favorite summer activity? Nagashi Somen parties! Last summer, we built a bamboo water channel to serve somen noodles for dinner with the TxT crew.

What is the best movie or TV show you’ve watched recently? My daughter and I recently enjoyed watching “A Life on Our Planet” by David Attenborough. The film prompted us to discuss the human impact on species loss and the importance of biodiversity. 

What is your favorite plant? An assortment of wildflowers!
