Congratulations, Huong!

We would like to congratulate our Designer, Huong Dinh, on her 1st anniversary with TEN x TEN!

Huong has shared her favorite parts of working for TxT, along with some other fun facts:

I love how TxT fosters a culture of innovation and challenges the status quo in design. While it requires more time and effort, it makes the process much more rewarding, and manifests in better design quality too! I also really appreciate the trust and support within the team—especially as a fully remote staff member, this has been critical for me in navigating both work and life during a challenging year. Thank you all for a great year!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? I like going on walks and capturing little everyday things during these slow moments. I also love dancing, either just around the apartment when I cook or with my friends!

What is your favorite natural landscape feature? Bog islands - I first learned about them while working on the Westonka Library project, where we explored mimicking hummocks from the Tamarack Conifer Swamp plant community. It was a lot of fun to research construction methods for this feature!

What is the best concert you’ve ever been to? Ezra Collective! The music was incredible, and at one point, the musicians joined us offstage to dance together – it was such a joyful, collective moment. Plus, the event was free, which made it even better!
