Congratulations, Emma!

05.20.2024

We would like to congratulate our Senior Associate, Emma Froh, on her 5th anniversary with TEN x TEN!

Since joining the TxT team in 2019, Emma has played an integral role in many award-winning projects, including the Minnesota Zoo Treetop Trail, the Wisdom Woods Vision + Communications Plan, the Horseshoe Bay Farms Vision + Implementation Plan, and the SECOND + SECOND Courtyard and Streetscape.

Emma is a passionate, detailed collaborator and thrives on facilitating high-performing teams to deliver excellent work. Her dedication is evident not only in the beauty of the landscapes she helps create, but also in the enduring connections she forms throughout the process. Her commitment to excellence, coupled with her innovative spirit, distinguishes her as a reliable and accomplished project leader.

She is motivated by witnessing communities achieve collectively what seems unattainable alone. She finds fulfillment in contributing to something meaningful in this world, recognizing the potential for remarkable outcomes when people come together around a shared purpose.

Emma has shared her favorite parts of working for TxT, along with some other fun facts:

I love the opportunity to travel the Upper Midwest and study the unique history and ecology of new landscapes. I also feel lucky to work with awesome people. My talented, thoughtful, tenacious, and visionary colleagues – both within the TxT team and among our collaborators and clients – form a remarkable community. Working alongside them has been a continuous privilege.

What is your current favorite album? “To Be a Cloud” by The Saxophones. I’m always a sucker for lyrics filled with visual imagery of the landscape (big surprise.) This album reminded me to go back for another listen of another personal favorite in the same vein: “Sometimes I Wish We Were an Eagle” by Bill Calahan.

What is the best book you’ve read recently?  “A Psalm for the Wild-Built” by Becky Chambers - thanks for the recommendation, Rachel Valenziano (TxT Associate)!

Thank you for all you do, Emma, and we’re so grateful to have you with us!
