Congratulations, Egle!

We would like to congratulate our Director of Impact, Egle Vanagaite, on her 4th anniversary with TEN x TEN!

Egle has shared her favorite parts of working for TxT, along with some other fun facts:

I enjoy leading business development pursuits. I love exploring a new site, finding curious patterns and textures, and developing a pursuit strategy around it. Spending time in the field can be revealing, inspiring and rewarding when working on a future project. I like to collaborate with the team and have conversations around inspiration, design, and storytelling.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Since the winter holiday break I have been experimenting with my rigid heddle loom, weaving my own foraged and dried prairie grasses and perennials into the linen warp brings me so much joy! The process connects me to my roots since Lithuania has deep weaving traditions and culture around it.

Where do you enjoy spending time outside? Lake Superior is my favorite place! It is the closest landscape to the Baltic Sea, a place where I grew up. The north shore rocks, sand dunes and weaves feel meditative, soothing and healing.
