Congratulations, Christine!

We would like to congratulate our Office Manager, Christine Levin, on her 3rd anniversary with TEN x TEN!

Christine has shared her favorite parts of working for TxT, along with some other fun facts:

I enjoy working with TEN x TEN’s Culture Task Force to find ways to bring the firm’s mission and vision into the daily workspace. From happy hours and community service to site visits and cultural competency trainings, I like finding ways to walk the walk of TEN x TEN’s commitment to elevating community stories, people, culture, and nature in everyday life.

What is your favorite natural landscape feature? Patches of wild blueberry plants sprouting up in the forest along portages and trails in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). I always have a bucket or cup ready for picking and sometimes I even share!

What is a book you’ve been reading lately?  I’ve been reading by The Book of Delights, by Ross Gay which is a collection of stories about the beauty of ordinary things and routines. Breathing in the fragrance of grape hyacinth in the yard, drinking kombucha from an old jelly jar glass, or hearing Donny Hathaway on the radio become gifts of the day in these reflective essays.

What is the best concert you’ve ever been to?  I saw Seu Jorge perform his album, “The Life Aquatic Studio Sessions” which was a collection of David Bowie songs Jorge recorded in Portuguese for the soundtrack to the film, “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.” It was mesmerizing!
