Hi, I’m Rachel!
My approach to design is driven by thoughtful investigation and curious problem solving. This intrigue, along with diverse experience in project type, scale, and collaboration across disciplines, allows me to play an important role in carrying a meaningful project concept through design and construction.
My background in the biological sciences drives an analytical thread through my creative process. I practice landscape architecture (and love doing it!) because it is expansive, both scientific and artistic, data-driven, and sensory. It is this that allows landscape architecture to deeply listen to people and places to create positive change.
When not working, I can be found at various grocery stores shopping for my next cooking project, watching birds, and going on walks with friends and family.
