Hi, I’m Maura.

I began my design path in architecture, receiving my B.S. in Architecture from the University of Minnesota. After working for a few years on projects within the public realm, I found an interest for urban design and landscape architecture. I am currently in my last semester of the Master of Landscape Architecture program at the University of Pennsylvania.

I have often found myself drawn towards places and processes of research and have been a research assistant on several projects across my academic career. Also passionate about critical thinking about spaces and their agency, I completed an independent research project surrounding gender and architectural studio spaces.

I bring experience in research, design mentorship, and urban-scale design projects from both my academic and professional pursuits within the fields of architecture and landscape architecture. In my free time, I enjoy road trips of all lengths that continue to foster my understanding and appreciation for the natural world.
